  • Contact Premium Funeral Services anytime, our support is accessible 24/7. We're here to assist you in transferring your loved one into our care and initiating the necessary paperwork.

  • The timing of the transfer varies based on the location of the death. If the death occurs at a residence, aged care facility, or private hospital, transfer after certification can occur within 3 hours. However, if the death occurs at a public hospital, the timing will be determined by hospital administration and may take a few days. In cases where your loved one is transferred to the Coroner, the timing of the transfer depends on the investigation and may take several weeks.

  • Your loved one will be taken to the mortuary facility of our service provider, where they will be care for and respectfully prepared for the funeral service.

  • Your dedicated funeral arranger will ensure that all essential documentation is prepared prior to the funeral service. This includes fulfilling administrative and legal obligations, liaising with service venues including clergy, crematoria and florists and providing guidance throughout the arrangement process. Our support will be available by phone and email 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • Following the funeral service, your loved one is transported to our affiliated crematorium, Macarthur Grange Crematorium, situated in Smeaton Grange, New South Wales where a private cremation service is conducted with dignity and compassion. If your preference is an alternative Crematorium, we can certainly accommodate your preferences. Upon your selection, any cost difference will be clearly discussed prior and listed on your invoice.

  • The scheduling of the funeral can depend on several considerations, including clearance from facilities (hospitals, coroners etc) and the completion of essential paperwork. Additionally several arrangements must be meticulously coordinated. We advise allocating at least 5 days to allow for processing, decision-making, and thorough planning. Your dedicated funeral arranger will work with you to finalise the date, however, we advise against rushing and encourage you to allow yourself ample time to prepare for the day comprehensively.

  • Certainly, you have the flexibility to choose a different coffin from what's included in our package. The coffins included in the package are factored into the pricing. If your preference is a different coffin, we can present you with a broader range of options. Upon your selection, any cost difference will be clearly discussed prior and listed on your invoice.

  • Absolutely. Dressing your loved one before the funeral is a service we provide with care and respect. Our dedicated team will dress your loved one, ensuring they are adorned in attire that honours their memory. Your funeral arranger will coordinate with you regarding the clothing preferences, which can be received when your loved one is entrusted into our care.

  • Certainly. If you wish to have a viewing, we can coordinate it to take place at the chapel or crematorium before the funeral service. To accommodate this, select our Premium Funeral Service’s Funeral package option where your loved one's coffin will be present, and the service will precede cremation.

  • No upfront payment is necessary. Payment will only be requested once the funeral service is scheduled. We offer multiple payment methods, including the option to settle the service fees directly from your loved one's estate.

  • Following the funeral service, your loved one is transported to our affiliated crematorium, where a private cremation service is conducted with dignity and compassion.

  • Following the cremation, your funeral arranger will register the death through Births, Deaths, and Marriages. Typically, it takes around 10 to 15 days to receive the official death certificate by registered post.
